Recommends and carries out approved action plan without assistance.6.     Understand business processes, data entities, data producers and consumers and the data dependencies between various departments7.     Consult with business and technical partners to understand and evaluate their needs for data from the EDW and to plan how it will be structured and accessed8.     Perform data analysis and data profiling. Identify data quality issues.9.     Develop and implement business requirement documents for all new or modifications to the EDW10. Develop data model, ETL, and report specifications11. Originates and maintains communication efforts with divisional user personnel, data processing management, and vendors on problem and project statuses as appropriate.12. Ensures that all work and documentation meet the standards of the department and the project.13. Ensures minimal disruption on ongoing data processing systems between each division and the Systems Liaison by good coordination and effective project output integration with existing systems.14. Maintains records of work performed and fulfills Ad Hoc reporting requirements and queries. Assist in the design and development of business reports using Business Objects Web Intelligence (BOXI Webi).15. Excellent user knowledge of, and responsible for all aspects of the EDW and it’s interaction with other Systems.16. Develop procedures for user areas related to system changes and implementations.17. Coordinate User Training on new systems. Responsible for development of new and review existing training materials for permanent training courses.18. Perform quality control functions at a high level for related applications. Develop quality control reviews. Thorough knowledge of database structures enabling analyst to progress to database development.19. Work with individual user areas to improve the efficiency of business users by improving their use of systems to include technology.20. Provide guidance and assistance to personnel and users in resolving system related and operational problems.21. Obtain, review and assess vendor proposals and make written recommendations to management.22. Monitors changes in laws and regulations that may affect the programs to which assigned; assists Operations with system requirements where the implementation of new policy, procedural and operational changes as required. NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1.     Performs additional duties as assigned.2.     Is available for travel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Thorough knowledge of all phases of a Data Warehouse SDLCProficient in requirements gathering and analysisExpert experience with systems analysis tools, data extraction, database queries and updates, and report writing toolsAdvanced SQL skillsStrong data analysis skillsUnderstanding of relational and dimensional data modelingExperience developing Business Objects Webi reports is requiredETL skills using Business Objects Data Integrator a plusThorough familiarity with problem analysis and excellent level of problem solving capabilities to establish potential alternatives and solutions to problemsExcellent communication orally and in writing. Ability to work with all levels of management.
